Matt Gale has been in the logging/forestry industry for 23 years. Two years ago Matt and his team ventured away from the logging side of things, and focused on forest rehabilitation and maintenance, which led into tree removal, shelter belt clearing and vineyard development.

A new and exciting addition to the business is selling woodchip for biofuel. MG Contracting chip forest slash which is then used as biofuel, turning agricultural waste into an efficient product.

“Elag” - an invention by MG Contracting - is an attachment that mounts onto our chipper which removes and chips grape vines all in one smooth process. The grapevine chip is also used for biofuel.
